Purpose
| The Seoul International Dance Competition (SIDC) aims to discover promising young dancers, provide them the opportunity to gain international experience, support cooperation between dancers participating in each category (Ballet, Contemporary and Ethnic dance), and contribute in their improved understanding of the international world. |

| Junior (Solo) : Ages 15~18 years |
| Senior (Solo & Couple) : Ages 19~26 years |
| B. Contemporary Dance |
| Junior (Solo) : Ages 15~18 years |

| C. Ethnic Dance |
| Junior (Solo) : Ages 15~18 years |
| Senior (Solo & Couple) : Ages 19~35 years |

Couple competitors for Contemporary and Ethnic Dance must comply with the Couple Participation Guidelines. (Refer to page )
Ballet couple competitors may participate with a non-competing partner. Change of partner is permitted only if the partner is non-competing. |

Important Notice
| 1. |
The Grand Prize shall be awarded to two competitors from the three categories: Ballet, Contemporary Dance and Ethnic Dance. |
| 2. |
Awards for Ballet shall be made, regardless of solo or couple competitors.
The award certificate for Contemporary Dance or Ethnic Dance for couple competitors shall be inscribed with the names of both competitors. |
| 3. |
The jury may not award the Grand Prize or any other award. |
| 4. |
The prize money is inclusive of tax. |
| 5. |
Special Prizes may be awarded pursuant to the regulations of the Competition Executive Committee. |
| 6. |
In the event of a joint award, the prize money shall be equally divided. And the award immediately below the granted award level shall not be awarded. |
| 7. |
Competitors in the finals shall receive a Finals Participation Certificate. |
