Costumes & Make-up - Preliminaries
A. Ballet
Men: Sleeveless white unitard
Women : Black leotard, Pink tights, Point shoes
Make-up : No stage make-up permitted
B. Contemporary Dance
Men : White leotards, black tights
Women : Black unitards
Make-up : No stage make-up permitted
C. Ethnic Dance
Men & Women : Costumes and make-up permitted

Costumes & Make-up - Semi-finals & Finals
All competitors must perform in appropriate costumes and make-up.

Music
1. Competitors must prepare the music for the performance of their works.
2. Competitors may use CDs recorded with the necessary music for the performance, and must submit the CD to the Competition Secretariat during the registration period.
3. Competitors must print participating category (Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Ethnic Dance / Junior, Senior / Solo, Couple), name of competitor and title of work on the surface of the recorded CD and the CD case before submission.
4. Competitors must prepare an additional copy of the CD and a CD player for rehearsals.
5. Competitors who need an accompanist may do so and shall bear the relative expenses.

Jury
1. The jury shall be professionals of dance appointed by the Competition Executive Committee.
2. The Ballet jury shall judge solo or couple competitors individually. The Contemporary Dance and Ethnic Dance jury shall judge couple competitors as one team.
3. The Jury may not award each category, and may jointly award one Award. Provided, there will be no joint awards in the Ballet.
4. Competitors shall waive any objections regarding the decisions of the Jury and Competition Executive Committee.

The Rights of the Executive Committee
1. The Competition Executive Committee shall retain the following rights regarding competitors during the period of the competition (including media interviews and gala performances):
a) Right to tape, record, and broadcast the event
b) Right to take, print (including through the internet) and sell photos regarding the event
c) Right to copy and sell video tapes of the event
2. Competitors may not demand any compensation regarding the rights of the Competition Executive Committee including taking of photos, interview, recording and taping.
3. The Competition Executive Committee may, at their discretion, may adjust the performance duration of the competitors for efficiency.

Copyrights
Competitors must acquire prior consent or authorization when using the choreography, music, and costumes that require copyrights, performance rights and license expenses. Furthermore, they must submit the documentary papers to the Competition Secretariat during the registration period.

Transportation & Accommodation (including meals) Expenses
1. The Competition Executive Committee shall provide for the accommodation and meals for oversea competitors (applies only to competitors) during the period of the competition, and all other expenses otherwise incurred shall be paid by the competitors.
2. The transportation, accommodation and meals expenses for invited competitors shall be provided by the Executive Committee.
3. The expenses to be provided by the Executive Committee shall only be applicable during the Semi-finals and Finals period.
4. The Competition Secretariat may provide companies of competitors with information on accommodation, and upon request, make reservations for them. All relevant costs shall be provided by them.

Photo shoots & Interview
All competitors must comply with the photo shoots and interviews arranged by the competition Executive Committee. And for other photo shoots and interviews, the competitors must acquire prior consent of the Executive Committee. All competitors and related persons must acquire prior consent of the Executive Committee for all shoots, video and photo, during the competition period (including Opening and Closing Ceremonies and Performances).

Arrival Dates
Semi-finals competitors must arrive on the designated time at the designated place as notified by the Secretariat on August 21, 2006 for registration, drawing lots for turns, and the Orientation. The Secretariat may arrange an Orientation for finalists, should the need arise, after the Semi-finals.

Insurance
The Executive Committee shall take no responsibility for any accidents, injuries or property losses that may arise to competitors during the traveling and competition period. Competitors must personally apply for insurances in case of illnesses and various accidents.

Additional Indications
1. The order of performance shall be determined by lots in the presence of all competitors. Provided, the order of performance for finalists shall be as in the semi-finals. The Secretariat may arrange an Orientation for finalists, should the need arise, after the Semi-finals.
2. All performances shall be open.
3. The necessary costumes, shoes, make-up and other materials for the competition must be prepared by the competitor.
4. Stage equipment shall not be permitted.
5. Competitors may only use the lightings permitted by the Executive Committee during the competition. (The basic lighting shall be white lighting without spot lighting.)
6. Competitors may use small materials necessary for the performance. Provided, however, the competitors must be able to move them and the materials must not damage the stage or disturb the performance of other competitors. (Forbidden materials: all kinds of powder, fragments, liquid, and flammable substances)
7. Nude performances are not permitted.
8. The Executive Committee may, at their discretion, may adjust the performance duration of the competitors for efficiency.
