Accommodation: Seoul Garden Hotel & Suites, Twin room,

Address: 58 Mapo-daero (Dohwa-dong), Mapo-gu, Seoul (10 mins by car to Mapo Art Center.)

• You may share a room with someone you don’t know (will be another participant in the same competition).
• Roommates will be assigned beforehand and cannot be changed. 
• Rooms will be shared amongst participants (2 participants per room). 

Key Information:

• If you happen to get a room to yourself, you will have to pay the full price of the room.
• If you are paired with a roommate, you will split the fee in half. 

(125,000KRW / 2 = 62,500KRW per night). 

• Please pay your hotel fees on the last day of your stay directly to the hotel.

If you participate in the Finals and must extend your stay, the discounted fee will remain the same for the entirety of your stay.

음악 관련 문의가 많아서 다시 공지 올립니다.

요강과 앞선 공지사항에 명시되어 있듯이, 콩쿠르 규정상 아래의 <음악 변경 가능 조건>을 제외하고는 음악 변경을 금지합니다.

<음악 변경 가능 조건>

예선 경연 시 제출한 음악과 동일하지만 템포, 음질 정도의 수정이 있는 경우

※ 만약 본선 음악이 예선 음악과 동일할 경우 음악을 재제출하지 않아도 됩니다.

※ 본선 접수 시 음악을 다시 첨부했을 경우, <음악 변경 가능 조건>에 해당하지 않는다면 예선 음악 그대로 경연이 진행될 예정입니다.

Conditions for Music Change Eligibility:

Music must be the same song as the preliminaries but can be modified in terms of tempo or audio quality.

※ If you are satisfied with your music from the preliminary competition, there is no need to resubmit any music.

※ If any changed music submitted during semi-final registration does not meet the conditions listed above, the preliminary music will be used for the competition as is.

We thank all the participants who passionately did their best for this competition.

The SIDC semi-finals and finals schedule are as follows:

 : June 7th (Thurs.) ~ June 16th (Fri.) 18:00 KST NO EXCEPTIONS

*ALL semi-finalists must apply for the semi-finals in order to participate. Please be aware of this and apply before the deadline. (Failure to complete the application or submit the necessary documents will result in disqualification)

※IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. Application for the semi-finals is only possible via webiste, email and in-person.

When applying by email, write your name and section in the title of the email. We are not responsible for any omissions as a result of not submitting as per the example below:

2. Please submit all necessary documents together at one time.

3. The semi-finals and finals will be live-broadcasted..

 *The broadcast may be suspended depending on varying situations

4. There will not be a separate orientation for semi-final participants. Timetables and other announcements will be uploaded to the website’s homepage.

 (The semi-final competition is conducted in order of age; the finals will follow the order of the semi-finals.)

5. Notification of designated work (for in-person participants only)

 - The designated work will be uploaded onto the website’s homepage, June 7th.

 Sections: Contemporary Junior/ Senior, Ballet Junior/ Senior)

 - The lesson schedule will be uploaded onto the website at a later date..

6. Designated Work Dress Code

 - Top and Bottom : Black Unitard and tights

 - Length of bottom : Shin to Ankle

 - The cut of the leotard is unrestricted however netting, mesh, lace and other patterns are not allowed.

 - Socks and shoes are prohibited.

7. Makeup, Accessories, Hair Ornaments

- All categories of makeup, accessories, and hair ornaments are allowed, but decorations that cannot be put on alone are prohibited.

8. Application for in-person screening for international participants

In-person screening will be possible starting with the semi-finals. 

(Please check the application form)

 - Applicants applying for in-person screening will be in competition with domestic applicants.

 - Only in-person applicants are eligible for prize money.

 - Designated works will be carried out in the same manner as domestic participants.

9. Choreography Section

Domestic applicants for the choreography section will also participate in-person starting with the finals. 

(Please check the application form)

 - Applicants applying for in-person screening will be in competition with domestic applicants.

 - Only in-person applicants are eligible for prize money.

10. Necessary Documents 

 - Passport (MANDATORY)

 - Application Form

 - Profile Photo (Including Ballet- Non-participating dancers) [please submit as a PDF or JPEG file]

 - Piece Introduction (Work List) [Incl. in  Application Form]

 - Copyright license certificate: to whom it is applicable 

 - Music : Submit only for categories where works have been added in the semi-final and final rounds.

 ※  Changes to music after the preliminaries have been strictly prohibited.

 ※  Participants in the Ballet category (Pre-Junior II, Junior, Senior) will compete in the semi-finals with the works used in the preliminiaries. Should the participant advance to the final rounds, they are to select one (1) of the two pieces performed during the semi-finals in addition to a new piece.

11. Music

 - All participants will compete with the music submitted during the preliminaries.

 - Abide by the allotted time for each section listed in the outline. (Starts after the name of the work is announced)

- Changes to music is prohibited; however, those who are eligible for re-submission may submit music before the submission date.

* Music Re-submition:

 1) Music will be the same as the preliminary competition however, if there is a modification of tempo or sound quality, when registering, write "Music change request" in the title of the music file before submitting. 

No other changes are allowed. 

 2) Participants in the ballet category should, after checking the outline, write the number of works in the same order as their application form before submitting (e.g., work 1_Satanella, work 2_Don Quixote, etc.)

 3) Domestic/overseas applicants for in-person screening

 ※ The application is completed only when all of necessary documents are submitted. This office is not responsible for unfinished applications due to missing documents.

12. Flight/ Hotel 

Flights are not supported

- Discounts are available for hotels affiliated with SIDC 

※ Exclusively for participants (Not applicable for guardians or companions)

※ Rooms are limited and will operate on a first come, first served basis.
